BC Rich Jr. V IT
BC rich Jr. V IT -Shown in Shadow Color Buy Today & We'll Throw In The Following Free Gifts: Korg GA-30 Tuner + BC Rich Gig Bag This is a limited time offer so please act quickly! The flexibility of a bolt-on with the added sustain usually reserved for a set-neck - That is what the IT delivers. With the IT system you get a great amount of wood mounted deeply into the body under the pickups simulating the neck through qualities very closely - plus, it just looks wicked! The IT equipped Jr. V features, a Widow style inlay at the seventh fret on the ebony fingerboard, string through the body and much more. Available in Shadow (flat black) and Satin Red. In January of 2006 B.C. Rich proudly introduced this innovative new guitar construction option. Like a bolt-on, the IT neck is separate from the body and then attached with bolts. However IT is a significant improvement from the traditional bolt-on construction developed decades ago. A typical bolt-on has minimal contact between the neck and body. With the IT however the neck extends into the body even beyond the rear pickup for a massive upgrade in body to neck contact. With the IT there are no exposed screws, instead this patented design provides two bolts that are under each pickup and an additional two laterally attached screws that go into the end of the neck. Only the IT provides the best of each of the various neck construction designs. B.C. Rich designed their BDSM humbucking pickups to provide a solid sound and to be durable while delivering high output. BDSM stands for Broad Dynamic Sonically Matched. Which simply means that the pickup is designed to reproduce a wide range of frequencies accurately (broad dynamic). Then they are tested and matched in pairs (Neck and Bridge) by their inherent individual and signature tonal and output characteristics to give a solidly balanced tone (sonically matched). Some of the B.C Rich shapes are offered with a flat top. The flat top styling gives a bold and pristine look to the edge of the instrument's shape. Usually when the flat top feature is used, B.C. Rich adds a stripe of single or multi-ply binding around the edge in a complementary color. The binding on a flat top finishes off the edge cleanly and gives a sleek and clean look to the instrument.
